3 Injured, 5 Displaced By 2-Alarm Boston Fire: Officials

Three people are hurt and five are without a home after an overnight 2-alarm fire in Boston. 

Crews arrived at 31 Brookview Street in Dorchester to see heavy fire coming from the 2-story home.

The fire broke out at a home at 31 Brookview Street in Dorchester around 3 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 21, Boston Fire said on Twitter. Upon arrival, crews saw flames coming from the front porches of the 2-story home.

Crews rescued a child and two adults who were trapped on the second floor as well. They were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, Boston Fire said.

Overall, four adults and one child were displaced. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
